​In the Kangaroos class, we focus on laying a strong foundation for a successful and confident transition to school. This includes developing pre-literacy and numeracy skills, social competence, self-regulation, and independence. At a minimum, we maintain a ratio of one educator for every ten children, ensuring each child is supported in a safe, engaging, and well-managed learning environment.

Our school readiness program is built into everyday experiences and enriched through intentional teaching. Children explore topics through project-based learning, storytelling, games, and collaborative activities. We also focus on building a growth mindset, introducing concepts like persistence, teamwork, and goal setting. Visits from local schools and structured routines help children become familiar with what to expect next in their learning journey.​
